Personal History-

Max serves as the watchdog for J. Jenks' downtown office, which is at the location Alice provided in her note in Bella's copy of The Merchant of Venice. When Bella arrives, Max notes that she does not seem like the "usual" customer, but her beauty helps convince him that she needs to see Jenks. As a general rule, if a client mentions Jenks' name, Max refers them to the fancy office which they can visit on a Thursday. Since he is unsure of where to send Bella, he calls the emergency number. Once he drops the name Cullen, Bella is allowed to see Jenks right away (Breaking Dawn, pgs. 636-640).

Classic Quotes-

"Maybe you shouldn't park that car there, lady. It might not be here when you get back." (Breaking Dawn, pg. 636)

"You don't look like the usual customer." (Breaking Dawn, pg. 637)

"You could have told me you were a priority client." (Breaking Dawn, pg. 640)
